This a blood and guts action piece with an impressively high body count, including all but one (one and a half?) of the `good' guys, and lots of very graphic violence. I'm of two minds about it, on the one hand guns do do horrible things to people, but this much detail seems almost to glorify it. The plot seems to alternate between two parts, one being a sinister plot which is being uncovered and the other is a fight against a gang of psykers. This devolves into a brutal three way battle between the government, our guys and the psykers with very few standing at the end. Add an experimental battlesuit and you've got a lot of bangs to go around. The story is a bit erratic, and perhaps a bit much, and the anti-semitic content seems ludicrous and unneccesary. Oh, and in case you were wondering where angel cop comes from, one of the cops (remarkable because of her readiness for violence) is named angel. There may have been a subplot to chart some character growth in her, but it was really hard to see it through all the smoke. The animation is workable and some of the weapon design is quite interesting, which combines with the action scenes to make a watchable film for those who like this sort of thing.
