Born in Hokkaido, Japan, Masami Yuki (his name is pronounced with a long "u" sound) is an artist who began his career by submitting a parody strip of the anime series "Kido Senshi Gundam" ("Mobile Suit Gundam") to the magazine OUT. He has become known for his light touch and keen eye for the comedy inherent in most human affairs, gathering a lot of his ideas from the day to day happenings he sees on TV news, sports and livecast programs.
