The title translates as something like "protect me, moon spirit" which is why the fansub keeps the original title. Our young protagonist lives alone in japan since all his family are out exploring strange sites around the world. Sadly they keep sending strange relics home, generally without instruction manuals. One such item summons forth a moon spirit to protect him, another a sun spirit to make him happy and I suspect more are to come. The influence from Oh My Goddess is fairly clear, but these spirits are way more hair-trigger and unsubtle, not to mention imperceptive. They also have no qualms about using magic, generally way too much, in public which leads to sizable collateral damage. The magic is also interesting with one able to summon creatures and the other animate objects, which can lead to scenes like a giant warrior wrestling with an animate building. The focus of their attention, who has an amazing ability to accept all this, doesn't seem the have much ability to spot the next disaster building up. The writing is fairly simple, as are the characters so far, and the animation is clean but has the feel of computer assistance about it which may reduce the charm. The humor is largely related to the improbability of all this, and tends to be visual and physical. An interesting start, but more is needed to see if it can develop its own personality.
