What a criminal thing it is to make such dreck out of a beloved title like Oh my Goddess! Firstly Keichii and Belldandy, the central characters elsewhere, are dropped and replaced by a rat. The remaining goddesses are always in shrunk, deformed mode (thus the need for a comedy rat). The animation is ordinary, the writing is lazy, the laughs are weak and the episodes are about 7 minutes long, which guards against there being much character work at all. Effectively these are a bunch of fairly weak and not particularly amusing gag strips. I have no idea why these were made, I don't want to see any more, and I hope the writer is never allowed to possess pen and paper again.

Having purchased the manga of the same name I have a better understanding of where these come from. The mini-goddess manga confirmed that they are from four panel `gag' strips which have only a tiny percentage of the style and charm of the original. This has been used as a `source' and then bulked out to make these lifeless little mini episodes. Of course while this may explain the lack of depth in this anime, it does not provide and excuse. Given that OMG runs to twenty volumes in Japan why this ordinary derivative product should be used as the base for a charmless and pointless anime series remains a mystery.
