The second Tenchi movie, and a wonderful short (1 hour) and sharp action piece it is. The plot concerns the sudden appearance of Tenchi's daughter who is both cute innocence and perilous mystery combined. There is strong support from Yosho and masterful work by Ryoko who is both more emotionally vulnerable and hair-trigger malicious violence than ever before. Indeed fans of Ryoko must see this film, but many of the other characters get correspondingly reduced roles. Good character work, lovely animation and lots of beautifully animated action sequence make this a joy to watch. The conclusion, while not neccesarily suprising is well handled.
