Title Info
A Competent piece of multi-character drama. As the final part of a test into galactic space college (or whatever) 10 people are placed in an isolated environment, namely an abandoned ship, and expected to manage. Things start to go awry immediately with a headcount revealing there to be 11 people and things go downhill from there. The drama comes from the fact that they cannot trust each other (especially the unknown mr. 11) and that they can never know what is part of the test and what is sabotage. Some of the characters are decorative only (though extra points for the (ahem) romantic interest) and the plot is perhaps a bit forced, but it is a reasonable story and well directed so that the pace is maintained although it is generally fairly slow moving. The animation is competent but in an older style but sufficient for the story being told. The guys at THEM where obviously having a bad evening, giving it this unflattering review on the basis of story weaknesses. I didn't see the weaknesses as being nearly that dramatic though. |
