Warning! Don't watch this too soon after the OAV as the quality of the animation doesn't come near that level. Indeed both the visual charm, character and technical impressiveness are all reduced. It's almost as if your TV has developed some weird fault, it's the same thing, but so much is missing. It is also possible that the writing is considerably less subtle. That said, there is still some value here. The characters are still a strong team and stories have some interest in them. Indeed episode four did some more exploration of Yoriko (kawaii!) which was both interesting and quite well done. So, while this material is way below the OAV, and even average by modern TV standards, it could well bear a watch. Here's hoping that later episodes continue to recover ground. A word of warning, this material is numbered to tie in with the OAV (against the normal practice) so this will often be listed as episode 5-12.
